I've been seeing the skull and crossed sabers (like the old pirate trademark) alot lately. Is this stand for anything significant? or just a popular image that tactical shooters liketo incorporate onto their gear.... it is cool though. I was just curious.

The flag is the flag of pirate Jack Rackham aka Calico Jack. You can read about him here: Link

Frens is right about it's popularity. There are a few photo's of SEAL sporting those patches. I've also seen morale patches of other pirate's flags, too.

I've got one because its the only pirate-style flag patch in a subdued color pattern and velcro backing I could find. I still want to find a subdued skull and bones with velcro backing.

I bought my subdued Calico Jack and subdued American flag patches from here

I don't know if anyone else has seen them, but my budy is Navy Air Crew, and he has nametapes that have his name in English, then again right underneath it a little bit smaller in Arabic. he said one of his O's got them for the whole det during one deployment so he has no idea where to get them.
anyone else know?

If you go someplace with Arabic speakers for deployment, there's always someone around who can make them. I'm not sure of anywhere back in the US that'll get the names right. (and it's dubious overseas anyways...)

just a patch i liked from camotech,
it was made originally for a group of brits. like it so much i had linda make me couple, but mine don't say rogue on them. that's all.....fun stuff for shits and giggles
