[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Compatibility between brands?

BlawkHawk, Eagle,HSGI, TT, SOE, Paraclete etc. Has anybody run into any compatablity issues with Molle/Malice/PALS etc. They should be made to MIl-Spec right? I have seen some really nice gear rigs made up of different companies stuff. Is there stuff that just wont work together?

I have had zero problems mixing TT, Eagle, Blackhawk, SOE, SOtech and HSGI.

what are you getting at?

all of those components will be compatible, unless you're a nylon challenged " donkeyheadgear"

who would want to cut off his sofstraps and replce them with MALICE clips.

point is, if gear is touted as being MOLLE/PALS compatible then you have a 99 44/100 chance of no problems

If there is different manufacturers gear that doesnt work well together.

Some companies leave a lot of space between stiching (BHI)
and some keep it very tight (SDS)
but with enough patience( and wiggling) you can get them all to work

All of my Blackhawk and SDS items have PALS webbing that was stitched to spec. I have some Tactical Tailor and Eagle stuff that is out of spec, but everthing else I've run across was good. Paraclete does some funky spacing on the strap connector straps on some of their pouches, but all of my PALS webbing from Paraclete has been good.
