| I have been looking to order some digital urban and woodland camo BDUs, but i want to find marine issue patterns, because ive heard bad things about some imitation digital camo. I was wondering if anyone has a site that sales the marine issued pattern. Thanks in advance. |

I just got a woodland cammo digital top on ebay. made by Mil-Tec. it's very green I think it should have a little more brown in it. the sleeves are very big. wish it was a little less floppy. first thing i did was wash it 3 times to get the stiffness out. Slant pockets have to get used to. sewed my ARFCOM patch on one of the pockets, I couldn't decide weather to sew it on straight or line it up with the pocket, i chose to line it up with the pocket. no room on the sleeves. undecided about the velcro pockets. over all rating: 7 I just wore out my Woodland pattern BDU top and had to replace it, that one lasted 20 years. so, the next time i upgrade, who knows what pattern will be out. edited: if they make the urban colors, i think that would work better. more browns and grays?? |
sounds like you got the "Jungle Stalker" (very similar to CADPAT). |

Crye Precision "Combat Pants" & "Field Pants". Check out the photos on the web site. Great camo. Crye Precision |
The best camo, but you need to drop around $200 for a set |

I have had a couple dealings with Gary at High Desert since posting the link. The products are nice, price is good, and customer service was very good. High Desert digital selection |

I purchased a set of Tru Spec desert digital ripstop pants from a surplus store in Baton Rouge and have had no problems with fading. I think the fading issue was with the poly-cotton blends. I like the pants. Not the best stitching I've seen, but they're good for the range or a hunting trip. I'd like it if I could find a jacket in my size in the same ripstop fabric, but it doesn't appear they make it. Thanks for the High Desert link. |
