I have a Nova Pump Special Purpose, and I'm wondering if anyone's heard of installing a Picatinny Rail on this shotgun.

I know that the Nova Pump has a different stock than other Benelli's and that may be the reason it wouldn't be possible to have a rail installed.  But the new M4 has a Picatinny rail that's compact enough to allow the ghost ring rear sight to stay on.  I'd appreciate your feedback.  Happy Holidays.

I'll second that request. I've seen photos o f the nova wtoh the rail set up identical to the M4. The benelli web sight states the the weaver 93 mount is the recommended mount for the nova. That might be an alternative.

I don't have a Nova, but I do have an M1.  The receiver is thin on the top and I have seen Weaver rails shear off.  I am using a Da-mare mount purchased through Brownells which has held up through thousands of rounds.  This mount uses 6 screws which go through about at a  45 degree angle at the top corners of the receiver.  There are two slots on which to mount optics.
