| Hello all. Last week I got in an order for a 1301 from PSA. It was that $1099 deal they had advertised. I hope the gun is a mod 2. Based on what i've read, Beretta was making the 1301 mod 2, 7+1 in Italy. ATF stepped in and forced them to stop importing that version. Beretta then starting importing and selling the Italian made mod 2 as a 5+1. Beretta did this and then later moved production of the 1301 to the US and resumed selling it as a 7+1. Am I correct on this? I think the gun I bought is a 5+1 FDE mod2 but don't know for sure, yet. |

Ordered the 1301 and had a few questions- 1. Optics mounts- Anyone use this: https://langdontactical.com/ltt-fastback-optic-mount/ Looks good and put the optic closer to the shooters eye. What red dot? Arco looks solid but I wanted something with a circle around a dot- like a holosun 509. 2. I know it does not look that good but the chisel stock has a rear optics mount as well. Thanks will post pics when it comes in. I liked the grey color. |

I'm upgrading the magazine spring on my 1301 Tactical Mod2 to a Wolff 65165 (UPC 197706655995). Of course it will need to be cut down in length. On here someone posted to cut it at 12 inches past the tube and on another website someone posted 14 inches? Has anyone else swapped theirs out, and if so, what length did you cut it to for reliable cycling? |

Attached File Ordered a light and deciding on what optic and mount to get. Will go shoot it this week. I am not a shotgun dude, so its so so for me. There is a bunch of plastic parts. The barrel clamp kinda sucks. The stock with pistol grip is not great. The handguard is alright. Got a bunch of shotgun cards from esstac. Will probably put another chest rig together dedicated to shotgun. |

Gun looks sharp. |

Its fast. Really fast. The recoil on the 3” shells was snappier than I expected. No issues. A couple things needed to be tighted up and loctited. The pistol grip stock was canted and loose, and the barrel clamp needed tightening. Shooting ARs for me is much more enjoyable. I am very slow with the reloads and need more practice. Ordered the LTT fastback and an ARCO. I wanted the optic to be closer to my eye. Also coming in is a scoutlight. Been trying to figure out how to deal with the light and sling set up. Remote switches - unity looks good but I might need a new foregrip with more mlock mounting options. Its a beast that eats all ammo for sure.  I am nearing the 3k mark With stuff added. |

I installed a Novske QD on the right rear of my stock. It works well. But you have to drill a hole. :( I'm using a magpul m-lock 45 degree canted mount for my scout. Its on amazon 18 bucks. I can't run a pistol grip. Slows my loading way down. I do over the shoulder loading. The ejection port faces straight up. I support the barrel with my support hand. The barrel gets hot so wear a glove if you go this route or get LTTs barrel shroud. I wear a nut sack and feed it with my dominate hand. You'll get pretty fast after some practice. |

Probably close to 600 rounds now. Practicing push pull, and it helps alot. Its my ranch/farm shotgun. The arco with fastback is a good combo. But with all of the fast shooting the barrel is getting pretty hot. I like it and it is very light weight. Still not trilled about the sling/weapons light placement. Dont want a remote switch. And probably need a heat shield with the amount of shooting I do. Attached File I think the gun looks really good. I like the grey. |

I've broken 3 optics wearing a sling. Walls and door knobs do not like optics. I need a heat shield. I don't what to spend the money.  |

| Picked up my 1301 Tactical a few weeks ago and went to install an Aimpoint Micro H-2 using an Aridus CROM. Attempted to remove the pic rail and found that one of the screws was over torqued and stripped. Did my damndest to get it out to no avail, so I have to ship it back to Beretta for service. Anyone know how quick their customer service is? Really hoping they don’t charge me for the work since the shotgun is unfired, but I did try using a screw extractor so the screw and rail are a little worn down. |

Just got a long awaited back order from Nordic components today for the +2 mag extension. I posted a question a week ago about the lancer mag extension as that was the only one I could find. Thanks to everyone who responded. Now I think I have the gold standard , really like the quality. For every one out there who had or has the 5 shot tube would you swap out with the factory 7 round tube with the plastic cap for $75 or use the NC extension? I chose the $150+ option since I didn’t want to take a heat gun and pipe wrench to a $1,500 +/- shotgun Attached File |

Finally got to shoot my 1301 Mod 2 today with my new Aridus Imperium handguard and zeroed my holosun 507 Zeroed with truball slugs. Then shot about 100 rounds of 00 buck. Very fast follow up shots and patterned well. Even after many rapid shots the Imperium handguard only got bit warm,much better than the crappy factory handguard. So far about 250 rounds through it runs like a sewing machine. |

1301 did great at the Symtac Consulting class at our range this weekend. Aridus handguard was an eye opener to the other 1301 guys. Only issue was both the CROM mount and the 508T became a little loose near the end of the 2nd day. Not enough to mess up shots, but loose is loose. This is the 2nd heavy shooting event I've used with it, Thunderstick 2024 being the other. Torqued everything down temporarily, and I'll re-Loctite and re-torque everything when I clean the gun today. Also got a look at the LTT Fastback Optic Mount. I really like the rear iron sight in front of the optic. I may be buying one a little later this month. Jay |
