Judging by where the shell latch is on the right side of the pic, is it bent? Rounds will not come out of the magazine tube.

FIFY

Edit: ok your link is broken. The problem is with that long slender bar with that ear that is holding the shell back. It needs to be pressed into the receiver channel that it fits into.

That's the shell catch dong what it's supposed to do:  keeping the shells in the mag tube.

As stated, to download shells the shell catch must be pressed into the side of the receiver.

So is the end of the latch bent? I can physically push it with my finger and the shells will come out but whatever is supposed to do it mechanically is failing to do so

Basically when I go to reload from the mag tube nothing happens. This latch fails to move far enough to free the rounds

The only way for the shells to come out without working the action is by pressing that latch to the side.

OR

Is it not feeding when you work the action?

ETA: Just saw your response above... Did you disassemble it or did it come like that from the factory?

I pushed that thing that catches the shells and carries them to the bolt/chamber down just to show an idea of where the shell latch is and how close it is to the primer. I know it has to be pushed to the right to release the shells. My problem is it's not being pushed to the right. It just stays in that one spot and won't allow any shells to exit. Yes it's been disassembled but in this pic it's fully reassembled

Latch will move of I use my finger to move it. But will not move while cycling the action

Does it move a little (but not far enough for a shell to come out) --- or does it not move at all when you open the action ?

Have your replace the forearm? Do you have a side saddle or any other aftermarket part on the gun?

Moves a little. Nothing on it. Nothing new

Have you tried a detailed strip of the entire action, a good cleaning/inspection and reassembly with careful attention to exactly how everything is supposed to go back together? YouTube has a few good videos to help you with that.

I have stripped this thing down 10 times and can't find the issue other than that latch being all the way over like that. Can't see any debris behind it and it will go flush against the side if I push it but only if I push it. Other pics of the latch I've see it was no where near the primer like this one is and more towards the edge

If you've reassembled it correctly a handful of times it might be bent.  Just looked at mine and its completely flush when racked all the way back.

Can you take another picture showing more of the slide release. Picture is a little to dark.

I'm thinking that the shell latch got bent inwards during assembly by the front trigger plate pin.

Ok got it figured out. Somehow broke the tip of the latch off. It's missing a whole end section. Removed it completely and it'll cycle now but has to be loaded with the lump to the rear

Now that I can see the picture it is easy to tell that the left shell latch is broken and needs to be replaced. Part # 55 on this schematic
