I'm getting around to filling out my forms, and I some questions.

I'm SBSing 3 Remington 870 Wingmasters.  I'm inclined to write 870 Wingmaster under Model.  Is there going to be an issue?

About engraving, what's the most common location on a shotgun.  I'm thinking the left side, forward of the factory engraving.
Are laser engravers going to charge more for steel versus an aluminum AR15 lower, or who can machine engrave steel?

I would just put 870.

YAG laser engraving should cost the same regardless of material. Normal lasers can't reach the required .003" depth. Any mechanical engraver can do it easily, but there are different levels of "pretty." Most people put it somewhere on the side of the receiver where it's flat. Some have it where a side saddle will cover it. If you ever may sell it, and don't have many <18" barrels, I'd engrave the barrel(s).

I have my 12" and 14" barrels engraved, not the receiver, right up close to the receiver on the right side.  My Form1 has 12" for the barrel length but I use both.
