I would not want to have to try keeping a bobbing and weaving turkey head centered in a gost ring sight. I think you would be better off with a open sight or plain bead. Do you have the fire sights? How high does the front sight sit? I might have to use that front if it sits up high enough. Looking at a picture it seems like it sits pretty high(which is what I need) |

Looking at a picture it seems like it sits pretty high(which is what I need) I replaced the cheap plastic sights that came on my Remington factory turkey guns with the metal Williams sights. Because I'm crazy like everyone else on this site I have an stupid number if dedicated turkey guns. I used the Williams sights that mount to the vent rib when setting up a 870 20 gauge with a vent rib for my brother. He loves that the sights sit very high. I tried a turkey scope but feel it limited my field of view on approaching birds. I think the goast sight would do the same thing. |

The ghost ring itself is small and if you're looking through it like you should you'll never notice the ring. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Is the Williams sight you used threaded for their smaller aperatures? If so that should be one deadly gobbler stopper with the right load! Love the stock and forend! Quoted:

Sight is on. Gotta go pick it up and finish the paint job Is the Williams sight you used threaded for their smaller aperatures? If so that should be one deadly gobbler stopper with the right load! Love the stock and forend! Yes it is. I will use the aperture to sight the gun in and leave it out while hunting. |
