Y'all have seen the Benelli Practical, the 9 or 10 shot IPSC M1 Super 90....it has some nifty features like the scope rail, bolt release and operating handle...

Would you guys buy it if it were in the 18" "TACTICAL" (love that word...) configuration?  I sure as heck would...

I thought the same thing,so i replaced the 26 inc barrel with a 18 1/2 inch tube and ran the long mag with it.then i ended up buying the shorter mag aswell to be leagal.Down side is its a 7 plus 1 now,and 8 plus 1 for limited is the new rule  .Just yesterday i got a lead on how to get a 22 inch barrel which will make the long mag only a inch longer than the barrel    and be legal.this will put it in the same length as the new winchester practical gun we have been reading about all year.

I started with an M-1 Tactical and it evolved into a Practical.  IMHO the large bolt handle is useless, but I added an EGW paddle facing forward to the bolt release which works great.  Also added a Damar scope mount which is very rugged.  Added oversize safety and extended mag tube.  I have a factory comp but don't use it.
