Yesterday I installed the mesa tactical straight stock adapter, after finishing the installation I dry fired it a few times, loaded it up and put it next to the bed. Today I grabbed it to take to the range when I noticed that I didn't have to press the latch that unlocks the pump to pump the slide to unload it, I unloaded it and the trigger is dead, the latch that unlocks the pump stays in the up position and the gun is just a paperweight. I've already taken the trigger assembly apart hoping to find a broken part but I can't find anything, I put it back together and no joy, as it sits now the hammer will not stay in the cocked position when the trigger group is outside of the gun and the trigger is still dead with the pump latch staying in the up position.

Help!

When you install the stock it is real easy to run the bolt in to far and damge it. I was tighening mine down several years ago and snapped the safey thingy inside the receiver.
My best guess

It won't cock or won't lock in place when cocked?

Won't cock at all, nothing is catching the hammer from going forward

So the hammer can move back and forth? Is there spring tension on it?
Will pull my trigger group out tonight when I get off work and look around and see what I can find.

Yes there's spring tension when I push it back, if it's not an easy fix I'll just order the all metal trigger group from Brownells lol
