Thank you for replying. What type of shot it is.

I am under the impression it is an 8 pellet shot, correct? If so, is that target, buck, bird, etc.

I don't know shell loads very well.

It is #8 (sized) shot.

Look up "shot sizes".

That is a Remington target shell 2.75" long, 3 dram (outdated power rating) 1,1/8 ounces of number 8 shot.
buck, bird etc. is the size of the shot, the number indicates it's size, it starts at BB which is .177dia, bigger than that is considered buck, smaller is bird shot.  For bird shot subtract the shot size number from the .177 and that's the shots size.

to expand on buhog's comments... the "gauge" is also an old term describing the number of lead balls of that barrel diameter weighing a pound... .410 bore is the actual barrel diameter in inches...

General purpose dove / target load.

Based on the zinc coated base, it's Remington's bottom of the barrel dove/target load.

3 Dram equivalent,
1 1/8 oz of #8 shot.

Very useful come the 1st of September.

Its also low brass(zinc) which would indicate cheap, lead, bird shot, in 2.75".
