Trying to remove my super mag front sight, it is a pressed one, I have pulled with pliers and side cutters. think my next step may be some penatrating fluid and freezing the barrel. anyone else have any tricks, besides taking it to a gun smith?

Thanks

If you have the tools you can grind it flat, almost down to the rib and then drill out what is left.

I’ve not yet had one that could not be pulled out with side cut pliers. Put a piece of aluminum can down on the rib to act as a shim (avoids scratches) then grip the bead shank with the side cutters and roll them up( kinda like pulling a nail out with a claw hammer)
