Hoping someone can give me a better answer then what I got in my head. I have a NEF Excell SA shotgun and the front bead came off (thought it was pressed in). Anyway, the thread size is NOWHERE to be found online so I picked up an inexpensive front sight kit so I could at least figure out the thread size and do a little skeet shooting during this dry ammo times for rifles. The thread size is 3mm x .6 . I really prefer just a simple brass bead. Just through online searches I can't seem to locate this type of sight. What I CAN find is something like this. To me it doesn't really make sense to have a 1/8" x 3mm as it is metric. What I'm thinking is since they have them in 5/32" and 1/8" x 3mm  I guess my question is... I'm thinking the 5/32" might be equal to the 3mm x .5 and the 1/8" is equal to the 3mm x .6 , could that be correct? I'm also thinking I am completely wrong and I should just drill and tap it to a larger STANDARD size. If I do, what would be the next size up from 3mm x .6 in standard pitch?
Sorry about rambling on and hopefully I put this in the correct forum. Thanks in advance.
