I would like to chronograph some shotgun loads but I'm not sure if a normal chrono will work. I have a standard rifle and pistol chronograph. I think its called a crony b or chrono b, its one of the old school blue ones. I'm concerned about it getting errors due to the shot string being longer than a normal bullet.

If anyone has any experience with this it would be appreciated.

Dont quote me but i believe the shot stays in the wad at the distances you would use a chrono, 10-15'.
