About 8 years ago, in an issue of American Rifleman, there was one of those cheesy "collectors" firearms, that we all see from time to time.
This one was a short barrel muzzle loading shotgun (double barrel), with what I would guess was a 12 inch barrel. The historical claim-to-fame was a "stagecoach gun". I never saw this particular offer again in other gun magazine after that one appearance. I realize that muzzle loading blackpowder weapons are for the most part (from the perspective of the BATF) not firearms. Are we free to shorten the barrel length to whatever we choose for these types of blackpowder guns? Thanks! |

The LeMat revolvers with the 20ga barrel were sold by Cabelas for a while and may still be. Federal law doesn't regulate muzzle loaders. You may want to check your state laws. |
