Who has one, how do you like it, any other suggestions for a Mossberg 930 SPX?
I tried an EOTech, sits way too high on the gun... S/F Tim |

Quoted: I would rather have a Trijicon RMR. I love mine. Sits perfect on my 590a1 SBS http://i.minus.com/idtpj7YZ0Vu1I.jpg I put an RMR on my 870 build, I got it to sit a little lower because I used a CAA stock that integrated the 1913 picatinny rail into the stock. |

If you know you will use optics like a red dot then a stock that comes straight back is really needed, like the Mesa or any copy of it OR you can build up your cheek rest on your current stock using something like kickeeze to raise your line of sight until you can afford a better stock solution. http://www.kickeezproducts.com/accessories.php Or pachmayr http://www.pachmayr.com/home/pac-skin.php Can you afford a Vortex? http://www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-sparc-red-dot-sight-sprc.html |

The Sparc is less than the FFIII... I had a Vortex Strikefire, I didn't like how much field of vision you lose to the sides with the control panel and battery compartment...
I changed the shims to move the stock all the way up. The alignment with the irons is perfect and a low HUD type optic will work, but yes, I'd have to shoot a cheek piece to use the EOTech... |

You may still need to shim up your line of sight with the FF but it is cheaper than buying a new stock. Just order some kickeeze material so you have it.
Let me be clear, I mean placing material on your stock where your cheek weld is, not using a thicker shim. Shims only go so far. |
