Well my 1300 has been loaded in the closet for a while now and when I pulled it out to do some maintenance I found the pump would end up in an empty chamber and the latch refused to budge. If I push on the shells in the tube it seems to unbind the latch and allow the pump bar to engage it and release the shell instead of riding over it.
On these shotguns the latch is riveted in so replacement will be difficult. Will it hurt anything to just tweak it a little so that it engages the pump arm properly? |
