I do not have any info on the release date but I will tell you that the one I handled is noticably lighter than a Surefire forend.
I also would not give up either of my 618s for one. They are just too fugly and the tape switch looks like an after thought. Plus with the light that far back there might be barrel shadowing issues (I did not get to try one in a dark room so I cannot say for sure). |
