I did a quick search and didn't see anything on this, so hopefully it's not a dupe. I was flipping through a magazine yesterday and saw an ad for Magpul, they do shotgun stuff now. Looked like some kinda Magpul stock and an MOE looking forend. Looked pretty good I thought.
Don't see anything on their website yet about it, and I did a google search but can't find the picture of the ad I saw in the magazine either. |

This is WEIRD. No joke, I had a dream last night that I was looking thru a gun magazine and saw a Magpul ad that had stuff for an 870, 10/22, M14, Rem 700, Lots more colors for everything (think cav arms...), and fixed AR stocks. It even had some sort of catch phrase at the top of the ad. It wasnt "Boom" like this one, but it was close. Call me crazy, maybe a little obsessive, but this is too wierd....
I hope my dream comes true! Oh, that forend is sweet but stock is pretty bad. Pistol grips please. OD green as well. 1100 while you're at it. |

"Build what they need, not what they want.As a rule, end users are generally not designers, and are therefore limited to describing their needs in terms they know and understand. Although end user feedback is invaluable to the design process, Magpul never builds a product on the basis of simple market surveys. Instead, we study the intended mission, determine the equipment capability gap, and develop a solution based on a clearly defined set of performance-based requirements. While the end result will almost certainly not be what the user had envisioned, it will more effectively address the needs and performance capabilities they are often unable to clearly articulate or recognize from a product development perspective." |
| Anyone able to take a better pic? This really has my interest.. angles look just right. Standard pistol grips seem to feel a little awkward to me and standard stocks are swept back too much. This looks like a really good fix for that, especially since the LOP doesn't seem insanely long. |

| I hope they come out with them sooner than later.. my 870 needs a stock to replace the shitty Express stock some knuckle head swapped onto it. I like the look of the Moe forend but it doesn't do anything for me practically since I intend to run a Surefire 618. |

Quoted: at first i thought the stock looked terrible...but after seeing good pics on the magpul site its growing on me. i'd have to handle one in person before i purchased one however. I like the adjust ability of length of pull. The cheek weld looks nice. I'm somewhat skeptical of the angle of grip since it looks like a cross between a straight stock and a pistol grip. I hate pistol grips on pump shotguns and like the straight stock, but maybe the angle will turn my disdain of pistol grips around. I would be willing to buy it. I know Magpul puts a lot of research into the ergonomics and function over form of every product they make. |

I never thought I would dislike anything from Magpul, but

After handling the Magpul 870 stock at SHOT i was plesantly surprised. Its thinner than it looks, comfy with an adjustable length of pull. Though it doesnt look like a traditional shotgun stock at actually fits/feels really good. |
