I bought an 11-87 premier a long time ago from a friend, because it was a good deal.   I haven't shot the thing in at least 5 years, and there are several other guns that I'd rather have than another shotgun (i have 2 870's).    Any idea on what it might be worth, or where I can look to find a value?   It is an 11-87 premier.  It has a 18 or 20 " Rifle sight smooth bore barrel,  26 or 28" vent rib barrel with 3 or 4 chokes, and a 18" or so cantilever scope mount rifled barrel.   It is in great shape, which is why I never use it, I'm afraid of taking it out in the woods during deer season and dinging it up.

I was always a big believer in the "you don't sell guns" theory, but this one just sits in the safe, and I'd rather get another M1 garand or carbine to take it's place.

In good-to-excellent condition, and with one barrel, they typically go for $400-500 on GunBroker. Your extra barrels are probably worth another $100 each, but you may have a hard time finding a buyer for the whole package. I'd sell the gun and spare barrels separately, either on GunBroker or here on the EE. There is a guy in the AZ HTF who is looking for one to use in 3-gun... he might take the gun and one barrel off your hands if the price is right.

I agree your probably looking at $500-600 for the gun, and around here the barrels would fetch between $100-150. I would definitly be interested in the cantilever barrel and the short barrel with rifle sights, depending on price.

Thanks for the replies.   I need to decide if I want to sell it all together, or try to sell off the barrels separately.      I'm still having a hard time bringing myself to sell a gun, even though it's one I rarely use.     I'm sure as soon as I get rid of it I'll want to get back into trap or skeet.
