I have read that it can be done without mods, although I have not tried it myself. I have heard that the later model M2's cannout unless you mod the bolt. I have a circa '96 HK Import that I can Ghost Load giving me 5+1+1 without any extension |

As a side note –– I find it hard to ghost load in the "field" when I'm reloading fast from behind cover - guess its do-able w/ more practice. Ghost loading is intended as a loading practice, not a reloading practice. Reloading in the middle of a gunfight, the benefits of that one extra round are wholly outweighed by the time and lack of fine motor skills it takes to do it. You could really jam up the gun trying to use such fine motor skills while being shot at. Load out with the +1, reload to the tube. |
