I'm going to be slapping a laser/light on my 870, and I just started thinking about how well the laser would hold it's zero on the gun. The most logical thing to me would put the laser on the barrel, and that would keep it perfect with the barrel, because it seems that a forend or receiver mount would make it wander a bit. Am I on the right track?
