I just recently inherited this beautiful little shotgun and I have a slight problem. I don't have any information about it. It's a beretta, I've gone through the process of using whatever resources they have on their website and all I've been able to ascertain is that the gun was manufactured in 1984. After sending a couple of emails to their online customer service with the firearm's serial number 110085 and getting no replies, I decided to turn to the forums and see if anybody out there was knowledgeable enough to give me an idea of the model info and whatnot. I'm interested to see what kind of value, if any, this shotgun has.

That's where I found the serial number and the date code stamp. I didn't see anything else there that seemed significant, but that might be because I don't know that much about these guns.

Head over to Shotgunworld and check the Shotgun Value/ID board. There is also a Beretta forum.

Looks like an Over Under to me.

You need to know the model and the features such as barrel length and chokes. There are multiple models out there and price can veri from $500 to $1,000+. I would stay on top of the Company for the information. Knowing the features effects the price. I scanned through the Blue book but can't come up with anything fitting the weapon you are showing. The book has no pictures.

Looks more like a Browning Superposed.

Barrel length is 28", as far as choke sizes I'm lost there, the lower barrel is definitely a larger i.d. than the upper, but I'm not sure how to clarify. Can I just use a pair of calipers and use the actual measured i.d. to determine choke sizing?

The browning is different in terms of the trigger setup, this gun has dual triggers.
