What did you think of the rail? it looks really bad@$$ and scary  , but I would be concerned about how much weight it added, IMHO

It has already found a new home.
That rail adds 3.25 pounds, with virtually all of it forward of the receiver. The ETA Rhino will add less weight, I think a little over 1 pound. In terms of what I thought about it, here's a discussion I had on it: I recommend you ignore c0wboy's remarks. Mark from ETA joins the discussion at the end. |

I had a classic 16Ga Wingmaster... Oops! A "good friend" of mine left it in the corner for me for a month in a leather case... BEHIND THE RUNNING HUMIDIFIER!!! It was tragically pitted so there was only one thing to do. This.
With a Dremel, a 12Ga shell, and a half hour I opened up the magazine, the ejection port, and a rail on the back wall of the reciever. Then it was a matter of a bolt and a barrel. This was an expensive project since it led to a couple ARs, pistols, soon a bolt gun, and probably more. |
