I upgraded the following two factory Mossberg 18.5" 590A1's with Ghost ring sights in the last month for myself and a lady friend. Here's how they turned out.
The top one is for my lady friend. I added the following parts to that 590A1 for the upgrade. Aimpro 18.5 heatshield Aimpro red follower CDM heatshield picatinney rail - mounted on left front side of heatshield at 1000 for an upgraded G2 LED light on a LaRue QR G2 mount. GG&G front and rear side sling attachments. EMDOM sling with HK snaps generic buttstock shotshell holder (I have replaced that this week with a UM neoprene shellholder) Since these pics I swapped the Hogue 12" short stock on my 590A1 (bottom) for the shortened factory stock since she liked the Hogue and I liked the shorter factory stock. On mine (bottom one) I have added a; Surefire 323 LMG forearm weaponlight with TIR lens system Aimpro 18.5 heatshield Brownells aluminum hi-viz follower Gun Connection +2 extension (gives me 7+1 capacity) CDM heatshield picatinney rail (mounted on left front side of heatshield at 1000 for a future red lasermax unit. Hogue 12" short stock (now with shortened factory stock) GG&G front and rear side sling attachments. EMDOM sling with HK snaps generic buttstock shotshell holder (I have replaced that this week with a UM neoprene shellholder) Here's pics of the mount for the G2 light.

Both builds went fine. My 590A1 weighs more up front as expected but both are nice short home defense packages. My .02 |

590A1's FTW!
I tried to purchase a bunch of the Surefire 323 LMG's for my dept's 590A1 compacts last year - they had been catalogued for 9 months but not in production till this year. We ended up getting the 621 LF's. how do you like the 323's? Oh yeah, ARFCOM rules - pics of the lady friend!!

I like it's compact and had the lockout switch. Have you contacted Brightflashlights.com? The lady friend prefers not to be on the internet, sorry. |
