just thought I'd throw this out there:
ok heres the story..... i did a few more mods and it wasnt some easy bolt on shit. i wanted a pistol grip with a soild stock. so i looked all over the interwebs and found a few good options but i dontlike to buy shit from some company and not be able to touch and hold it first(cf buys are a different story). i went to the local sporting goods store for some shit for the wife and while she was looking at shoes i went to the hunting section and found the pictured butt stock. the issue was that it was made for an 870. i own an 88. most of the things ive read say that it would still fit,so i bought it. hahahaha fuck you it didnt fit for shit. i had to cut off some material AND buy a bolt that doesnt exist outside of the gun world. heres what i did. i cut the right amount of material off the stock. then i drove to every hardware store looking for the bolt i needed....you know the one that doesnt exist. so im not one to give up and i bought some all thread and a nut to go with it.....thats when i realized the washers for both of my stocks were the wrong size and no matter how hard i try'd it wasnt going to work. i walked outside and pulled the nipple type washer( i dont know what its really called) off my fuel tank on the bike. it worked perfect. so i own a mossberg with remington,hardware store and genuine honda parts on it..... moral of the story? dont let someone tell you that the part you want wont fit.buy it and make it fit. heres some pics: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk213/ryangrover1/100_4951.jpg?t=1267687002 http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk213/ryangrover1/100_4956.jpg?t=1267687098 http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk213/ryangrover1/100_4957.jpg?t=1267687166 |
