I recently bought a 870 20 gauge to use for Home Defense with the wife in mind, scored the shotgun for $150. Added the Scattergun plus two mag extension, and i sent the barrel off to GunCat to shorten, crown and install a new bead sight. He had the barrel back at my door within five days of it arriving at his shop. I could not be happier with his work.

Looks good.  I also agree with Guncat rocks.

That looks mint! What did the barrel wind up measuring after he was done? Looks about 19.5" or so.....

Ah yes, they sure do - that's how long mine is.  GunCat really does good work, and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a nice cutdown & especially the rethread for choketubes.
