I've been shooting alot of rifled slugs through my 590a1. Do you guys have any good techniques for removing the lead?

Tornado brush, just make sure you have a back stop when you use it!

I use break cleaner, the kind in the high pressure can you get at a an auto parts store.  The can is twice the size as a gan of gun blast and cost way less.  I use a long wooded dowl with a pad of steel wool stretched over the end and taped off at the bottom of the pad.  It looks like a Q-tip.  I spray the barrel then put the dowl in my drill and run it through the barrel.  Your barrel will look like a mirror inside.  You can go to www.aiptactical.com and find the how to videos and watch the video on "Tube Extension kit" to see what the cleaning rod will look like.

I use a bore snake. It's not as good as JD's method, but it a better option for use in the field.
