Ok so when i was running my 870 with a pistol grip and a side folding metal wire frame stock it was convienent to put a single point sling at the back of the receiver. Now im running a 4 pos collapsible AR stock and need to fingure out a new method. I dont want to run a single point anymore at the receiver since its no longer the back of the weapon and i dont want the stock banging around on me.
Anybody got any pictures or recommendations on a new effecient sling setup. |

bump because i cant believe that nobody has a *SLING* on their shotgun that they recommend. The sling is the second most important part of any shotgun.
(its a rem 870 with 2 rd extension and knoxx stock) ***EDITED*** becuase i typed stock while thinking sling in my head |

Why would you think anyone on this site would know what stock your want. You have a Knoxx SpecOps on it and that is what I would recomend if you can't afford the Mesa Tactical with Endine buffer. You have a great stock on the weapon and don't like it. You had a folder on it and did not like that. You don't know what you want so most guys don't have a clue what you are wanting.
As for your comment that the sling is the second most important part of the weapon. A sling is the least important thing as it has nothing to do with the function of the weapon. Try a conventional synthetic stock with a reduced LOP and that may be what you are wanting. |

Its been a long day and my brain is completely fried! Im plenty happy with the stock i have now anyhow. I will admend my previous reply to say SLING. but yeah, aside from the shotgun itself functioning correctly, a light and sling are the two most important accessories on a shotgun. |

Put a simple 2 point carry sling on it.I like leather but The Wilderness makes a nice inexpensive tacticool 2 point.
