My left ( opposite ejection port) is rounded off quite a bit. Is this normal, or should it be as sharp as the right one?

Does the gun eject OK?
Rounded is GTG. That rounded edge lets the shell’s rim slip off and flip out of the ejection port when the shell hits the ejector

Yep, ejects flawlessly. Just never looked at it before, and wanted to make sure it was normal.

That's the way my 590 was. The left side was more rounded so that the shell rim could slip out for ejection.
