My 37 doesn't like the cheaper low-brass shells, like you find at Wallmart. It won't feed them out of the mag tube.

I carried one as a Deputy Sheriff. It would feed anything. Get it and try out different loads. I know the cheep Winchester at Wal-Mart will not eject regularly from my buddies 870.

Had one. Cheap stuff ran fine. Most older shotguns aren't rated for steel shot.
Nice guns but a bear to take apart for a thorough cleaning.

M37s have become my favorite shotguns, and in my not-so-expert opinion, older 37s are currently the best buy in firearms. (Maybe I shouldn't have said that!)
