Can I legally add the colapsable stock, and or mag extension?

NO - unless you replace the required number of parts with the US equivalent, you will be in violation of 922r.

Get a letter from the ATF asking how many parts relevant to 922r the Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun has.

You can have a maximum of 10 imported parts. We have right now, technically 3 compliance parts: Surefire Hand guard (not made anymore, so these are rare) Full length magazine tube, and magazine follower.

IIRC there are 14 or 15 imported (15 if you count the pistons twice, as it should be) however I have heard the ATF state that the M4 has had as little as 11 parts.

You MUST get a letter from them addressed to you, however in order to protect you.

In its current form, it is not legal to MODIFY the gun to put the tele stock and/or magazine tubes on, however many will argue that 922r is an un-enforceable rule, and that only the act of modifying the gun is illegal, not posessing it. Since its pretty much impossible to PROVE that you modified the gun, well......

Do what you think is smart.

There is 'supposed' to be a company making some compliance parts for the M4super90 fairly soon, which would allow you to add full length tubes legally.

A little off topic...... Can the Benelli M4 handle birdshot (cheap training) to slugs?

None of them are, but again, neither is driving 5mph over the speed limit. We still do it, the only thing is, noone ever got ticketed for 922R.
