The mag tube clamp I have is pushing the extension down towards the ground a few mm and it's big enough to where you can see it. Should I be worried about stress on the extension threads?
Thanks Guys. |

My clamp has a different size 'top' and 'bottom' diameters to each side. Check to see whether the clamps are the same top/bottom diameter, and if not, make sure the same diameter is both top and both bottom matched. Mine was cocked at first because I had one side larger top, and other side larger bottom. My explanation is for shit, but look-see anyway. It should matter which side is up because the barrel is smaller diameter than the extension. Other than that, you may just have the wrong clamp. ![]() |

Aha... I have the same problem with my Tac-Star. Except mine bends towards the barrel slightly. It functions perfectly, so I don't pay too much attention to it. Not worried about thread stress at all? Not too worried, the tube clamp doesn't move it down any so it doesn't put any stress on the threads. Its the actual tube that is "bent", not the part that screws onto the shotgun. |
