Sweet Fanny Moses!!!!  That is stunning.

What kind of sling and can I get a pic of your front sling swivel/plate?  I ask because I'm planning on using a Specter SOP and they provide the front plate.  I'd like to see the included front plate if possible and ask on the off-chance that this is the sling you have (it looks like it could be.)

Simply awesome purchase, thanks for the pics,
Scott

You are correct sir, its a Specter Gear 3 point sling.  The sling did come with a GG&G front sling thing but I currently have it on another shotgun.  The SBS in the photos came from Remington with a Wilson 1 shot extension, but I traded some stuff around on my other guns.   I'll try and post some pics for you asap.

ETA: If you buy a Specter sling you'll be appy with it.  Ive been using mine for years.  In case youre wondering, the SBS came with an extension just like the one in the pic.   Except the sling attachment was a horizontal type for mounting the sling in a traditional method.  I ordered the extension in the pic from Wilson (with a side sling mount) while I waited for papers to clear BATF.   I used the original extension on the 20inch 870 pictured above.  FWIW, if you go to Remington's website you will not find this shotgun listed.  For some reason they dont show this gun as of yet.  But this is how it came from the factory minus the light, sling, and side saddle.    As I said before its an 870 police magnum United States Secret Service model (its stamped like this on the box).  Glad you guys enjoy guns as much as I do.

Sorry I didnt have time to clean it yet.

Thank you for the pics but let me clarify, the plate you show in the pics is NOT the one that came with the Specter package?  Is it at least similar to the plate that comes with the package?  (If my reading comprehension is poor I apologize.)

You are correct in that I'll like the Specter, I've got one on my 6920, one on my SBR, and one on my M1A.

If your shotgun is an unlisted model, how did you know what to order?  How long was your wait?

Thanks again for the pics,
Scott

You're welcome.     The sling plate that came with the Specter sling is almost exactly like the Wilson shown in the pic.  The dealer I purchased the shotgun from had one in stock so I picked it up.  I just had to have it if you know what I mean.

Note:  The specter sling does not come with a Wilson sling plate It comes with a GG&G.
