It is to my belief that my SuperNova Tactical has a Chrome-lined barrel. Do all Smooth bores? What are the advantages?  Sorry for the noob questions but this chrome-line deal is new to me.

I think that is a Benelli / Beretta thing.

My Benelli semi autos and Beretta 1201FPs appear to have chrome barrels.  No idea why you would care or need it on a smooth bore shotgun barrel, other than cleaning and stopping rust or pitting.

My Benelli M4 has it my Remington 870P and my Mossberg 500 don't. The chrome just makes cleaning easier. Chrome lining is only for corosion resistance, they are mostly done only in rifle barrels, because if the barrel rusts internally then accuracy will be degraded. Shotgun less precision and are low pressure, so chrome lining isn't necessary.
