Has anyone ever made their own? I saw them on a few sites for sale for like 4000 bucks! Doesnt sound like a very good deal for a 300 dollar short barrel shotgun and a bracket. Im thinking of making my own to mount to my rifle. Anyone done it before? Im thinking of using a tactical mount on the shotgun, a tactical handguard on the rifle and making some kind of Union to fit between them. The length with no stock puts the end of the standard magazine tube right at the end of the AR's barrel. Im positive I will still need to apply for a short barrel shotgun tax stamp then saw off a barrel to a couple inches past the flash suppressor. Any comments? Ideas? Suggestions?

I'll say this: It makes one hell of a hell of a conversation piece and range toy!

Having said that, the reason that I broke mine down and committed the sub-assemblies
to other projects is that the fucker is ridiculously heavy. I don't mean that as in, "Do more
PT"-heavy. I mean this as in, keeping the sights on-target is like trying to aim and weight-
train at the same time. If you need the shotgun and the AR it's really better to just keep
both guns on two separate slings. Maybe a M4 on one and an 870 SBS/AOW on the other.

I know that's not especially practical but, trust me, it's better than having them bolted together.

Just my personal opinion.
