I've just purchased my first gun, a Remington 870 Express Synthetic 7-Round (but with the shorter, tactical forend).

After looking through literally every single picture in The Shotgun Picture Thread Part 2, I've ranked the accessories I want to get for my gun, but don't know where to buy them.

Can anyone recommend an accessory superstore of some sort that might carry the kinds accessories that I want (for combined shipping)?

In order of importance, I'm thinking: Case, Light, Sling, Side-Saddle, Buttstock Shell Holder

I've had trouble finding a case that isn't ridiculously long holding my little 18" shotgun.  Any suggestions?

The Allen "Assault Rifle" bags from Midway should work and are fairly inexpensive.  Measure the OAL of the shotgun and buy the appropriate size.  You'll have magazine pouches, though.

Midway should have most of the other stuff too.  Depending on the light you want, you might have to buy that separately.

I did not have a problem with the TAC-Star side saddle, but they are kind ofbottom of the barrel

has it all and they actually use and shoot what they sell.

to save some money you can look at the nordic mag clamp with rail to add a light like TLR1 etc.....versus a surefire forend.   Regardless, you can't shoot what you can't see.  Light should come first, side saddle second, rest is optional

Don't forget about our own Equipment Exchange - look in the Rifles and Shotguns Parts and Accessories subforum. Plenty of 870 stuff pop up there all the time.

This Allen Tactical Case looks like a good deal to me.  It's 44" and my gun's OAL is ~38"

I was looking at this Tacstar Universal Barrel Mount, although that Nordic Clamp does look more sturdy.

Still not sure what light I want though.  Those Surefire lights are all the rage, and probably worth it, but still damn expensive.

I'll probably get the Tacstar side saddle, and maybe a cheap $5 buttstock holder.  I know they slide around, but I've read that I can punch a whole through it and hold it in place with the swivel stud.  And if it sucks, hell, it was only $5

Oh, and before I forget again, here's a picture

That's my 870 at the top (obviously), my grandpa's old Sears .22, and my wife's two pistols: and old .22 revolver and a .357 she got when the Baton Rouge serial killer was terrorizing the town.

Oh, and some light reading material

Im currently using the Midsize Galati Drag Bag for my Benelli M4 and I love it.  Downsize is that its kind of pricey.

code monkey-

nice shotgun. i'm looking for the same accessories you are, as well as a tactical ar style stock, and these websites are already going to be the downfall of my savings . nice book too btw. might want to invest in a shaolin spear while you're at it.

that midway bag is fairly cheap though. thanks for that link guys.

For butt cuffs that slide around, here's a trick.  Go to Walmart or Target and visit the housewares section.  With the shelf paper, you'll see a rubberized mat product.  It looks like thick, rubbery screen.  It's used to keep stuff in drawers from sliding around.

Anyway, pick some of this stuff up.  Cut it to size to fit the inside of the cuff.  A few drops of glue to attach it to the cuff can help, but isn't always necessary.

It looks like this:
