I lost my choke key to my Mossberg 500 between my divorce and moving so, I removed it with an alternative way.
I took an old key, one that fits in the slots in my choke tube, and removed my choke with that and the help of a friend and a pair of pliers. I might get beat up for it but thought I would pass it along. The key fit into the slots real well. No slippage at all. After I removed the choke I looked over everything and all seems to be good with no marring or scratches. |
