My "repaired"  SPX went to the range today.  Totally different shotgun.  It digested everything thrown at it except some Winchester lite loads, which failed to function, or cycle, the action.  Slugs, both 2 3/4 and 3 inch, shot to point of aim.

After this experience it is now a "go to" gun.  I am very pleased.  Any full power load cycled reliably, and I suspect with time even low powered loads will work.  Low power loads are not what it is going to be loaded with, so the cycle failures with them are not of interest to me.

I am now off to treat my sore sholder.  I respect 3 inch loads now.

I just got on here to ask if anyone had one of these and to see how they liked it. I am craving one and have not heard or seen any out there. I see where you say repaired what happened with it?????

An ogoing review I started over a year ago.
I'll be adding another update here soon on it.

It's an excellent shotgun - glad to hear yours is in working order now.  Give it some time and it probably will eat light loads too.  Mine runs without a hitch with Walmart Federal and Winchester bulk packs.

Yeah, +1 on those WIN #7 steel loads that I purchased at Sprots Authority recently for $4.79/25. My pair of 930 SPXs eats them like candy right out of the box, no hiccups, and they both digest every load thrown down the tube. I also have a sore shoulder after my son and I fired 250+ rounds the other day and defintiely have a new respect for 3" Mag 00 Buck and slugs. Want to get a real shoulder massage? Try these 3" Mag shotshells in the 500A pumper with a collapsible stock and see what happens, ha-ha. I am only shooting 2 3/4" shells in those pump action weapons from now on. Buying those 930 SPXs was a great move for sure and is my new go-to gun on the homestead.

Hey M24 Shooter...what front sling and light setup is that and where can you get one? Please advise.

There are better pics of them in the review.  In that pic, it is a TLR1 with a Streamlight mag tube rail.  The switch is the TLR rifle switch with remote switch back module.  The front sling mount is a SGT/Wilson side mounted 870/1187 sling mount.
Currently I'm using a Nordic Components mag tube clamp with rail section for the light mount that will be in the update.  Also changed some other things.

Actually, the federal bulk pack from Wally World ran through the SPX like a charm.  The Winchester failed to cycle, but that was at the end of a long range period.

It may not be the ammo, however.  I cleaned the shotgun very well and lubricated with a dry film graphite spray.  In my opinion there was not enough buildup from one range period to cause cycle difficulties.  I will toy with this for a while and report back.  I have seen a bit of a problem with auto loaders lubricated with an oil building up fouling, so this is something of an experiment.

Good New Years to Y'all.
