Put a +2 on my 930 tonight. I don't really know the internal workings of the 930 but the extra long spring that came with it seemed to effect the cycling. It wouldn't eject the shell from the tube no matter how many times I pulled the bolt back with the tube completly full. I pulled one shell out and it worked. For some reason the bolt hold open catch would not work very well either when it was completly loaded. Does this make any sense? I put the spring that came with the stock gun back in and it works with the extention.

I think I read that others are just using the stock spring also.

After checking it out further it looks like the spring puts so much pressure on the shell it kind of holds the shell release catch when you cycle it or push the bolt release button. still don't know why it would keep the bolt hold open device from working though. Being new it might need to have the catch polished some by a few rounds going through it.

mine did the same thing when I bought the wilson spring/follower combo for an extened mag REM 870 to go into my 930 SPX. After I trimmed the spring down some to a little past stock spring height it worked fine.
