Alot of questions over at the basement at shotgunworld about this gun.  Heres the low down

The shotgun is a NEF Pardner Protector I got for $170 NIB
The stock is a Knoxx SpecOps- $50 used.
The forend and grip i got off of ebay for $25 shipped.  I thought it was going to be crap....but its tough as nails.
The Mag Ext. was made by MAX100 because they don't make one that will line up even with the barrel.  It cost $60...well worth it.
The site is a Hi-Viz clamp on.  Cost $23.
And my bubba'd 1-point sling-free.

Total cost for everything-$340.  For anyone that doesn't know, the pardner protector is a copy of the 870.  I own several 870's and this one is just as reliable and strong as hell.  I also had the side saddle on there and it fit perfectly, I just wasn't a fan.

I'm not exactlt sure if 922R applies to that gun, I haven't put a pistol grip on mine because of that.

Not that I'm against that gun, I own one myself, but I've seen Reminton 870 SUPER MAGNUMS on clearance at wal-mart for $199, so I can't see spending the time/money on a chinese copy if you are planning on tricking it out.

Very unusual that you see a new 870 that cheap. That is way below dealer cost. Also it is  a hunting shotgun with a longer bbl. You will need to buy a shorter bbl or have that one cut for home defense.

You may consider the Remington 870 a better shotgun. I believe the Norinco 982 and the Pardner Protector is a better designed tactical shotgun and just as well made; some parts are better made. The Norinco 982 which is basically the same shotgun as the Protector comes with a nice set of GRS. What a deal.

I sale all of these shotguns but I own a 982 and a Pardner Protector.

Some 870 shotguns have problems with some shells sticking in the chamber. You will never have that problem with a 982 or a PPP. They will cycle any ammo.

922R does not apply.  These are pumps.  922R only deals with Semi-Automatics.

Th mag tube extension was custom made by MAX100.  A+ quality!  I wish I could find an 870 for $199.  Too bad the Wal-marts around here don't sell guns any more.

Every year around deer season Dick's has 870 express's for $199 like clockwork.
