Is it ok to shoot a slug shell with a barrel that has an acuchoke installed or do you have to remove the acuchoke to shoot slugs?

OZ, Do not shoot a shotgun that is threaded for screw in chokes without a choke installed. You will damage the threads. Since you are using the term "Acuchoke" I assume you have a Mossberg. Mossberg does not offer "rifled" choke tubes like Remington does. It is safe to use any of the chokes supplied with the gun with slugs but the improved cylinder will will work the best. MIKE.
