I have a remington 870 express and am wondering are there cylinder bore choke tubes for it or can I shoot it with out anything in the choke area for the same effect. also how do you clean the choke threads in the barrel?

You can shoot anything out of a modified choke tube...slugs...buckshot...birdshot.  It's probably the best all around choke tube.  You'll get tighter patterns than with a cyl choke when using buckshot or birdshot and it won't effect your slug patterns.

ETA:  I know my benelli came with a choke tube wrench that's threaded on the other end so you can screw it into the choke threads to clean out any carbon fouling.  Maybe someone makes a tool like this for remington choke tubes.  If not then you could always use a patch and some Hoppes.  Screw the choke tube in and out a few times throughout the process to loosen up any built up carbon.

I use a cleaning patch and solvent

Yeah forgot to add definitly don't shoot it with no choke tube at all or you'll ruin the barrel.  Spend a few bucks on a choke tube.
