I purchased a JC Higgins Model 20 today as a beater shotgun and I later found out that the gun was made under several other names including the more popular High Standard 200.

What I'm wondering is, I have a Mossberg 500 parts set with a pistol grip forward grip (the thing under the barrel) and barrel that I'd like on my shotgun.  I know lots of aftermarket parts are interchangeable on some shotguns so I was just wondering if there was a chance the parts would work in my high standard 200.

Also, how many cartridges does the tube hold?

"a chance the parts would work in my high standard 200"???

None.
The High Standard was a totally different gun with NO parts interchange with any other brand.

The Model 200 holds 5 shells in the magazine UNLESS the magazine plug is installed, in which case it holds 2.

Here's a link to a High Standard 200 owner's manual.

ohh well, figured I wouldn't get lucky, but for just $100 I won't regret buying it.

Thanks for the help.
