| I had my 870 chrome plated last year and have yet to shoot it. My questions is do you guys think the chrome will discolor or blue like exhaust pipes. The shop told me that it shouldn't. hinking.gif thanxs |

Screw the naysayers, I think it looks cool! And if you like it, that's the only justification required. I'd put a real stock on it, myself. To answer your question, exhaust pipes on bikes turn colors because they're exposed to hot exhaust gas in the 400-600F range for hours at a time. I don't think running a bunch of shells through it is going to heat it up enough to worry it. Should be a snap to clean up, too! |
