Just picked up an FN SLP, got a smoking deal on it. Anybody got suggestions on upgrades/accessories? New to the tactical shotgun world.

I can't tell you what to buy but I'm thinking about getting a SLP myself and would love it if you would post a range report after you've put some shells through it.

I got my SLP a few weeks ago. I've put a few boxes of shells through it since then. It will feed all kinds of birdshot from light Winchester AA target loads to heavier field loads. It likes all kinds of regular buckshot, but it doesn't like the reduced recoil stuff from Remington. I don't know about any of the other reduced recoil stuff. Recoil seems to be lighter than any of my hunting guns like my Beretta or Benelli with equivalent loads. All in all, it is a damn fine shotgun in my opinion.

For those of you who might not know, the receiver/action is essentially a Winchester Super X2. Very fast, very proven.
