Found a decent deal on a 500 Cruiser style parts kit on GB along with a stripped receiver for $50. Added a cheap stock from Numrich and some parts I had laying around.
Attached File Not supposed to be above freezing here for another week so the range will have to wait. |

Can the poors play too? In the middle is a Ward’s Western Field brand Mossberg I had cut, crowned and a bead added. I’m waiting on a front stock adaptor to put the polymer fore grip on. On either side are cheap Turkish shotguns from Charles Daly and Rock River Imports that seem to be a copy of each other. I’m impressed by the Turkish made shotguns. Great fit & finish and both under $200! Not pictured is my trusty REM 870 with 20” smooth barrel and rifle sights. |

'Cause I want to show off my "working man's" Maverick 88 purchased right here from the E&E. I've included a few shout outs at the bottom to those who helped get me up and running on my first (but not my last) shotgun. Mossberg Maverick 88 / 12 gauge / 3 inch chamber / 18.5" barrel / 5 + 1 OR 9 + 1 mini shells Attached File Closer up showing the Tacstar side saddle with intrgrated rail. Extremely happy with the Swampfox w/ Green Circle Dot. Attached File She's gonna wear a Magpul forend with TLR-1 until the Streamlight TL-Racker arrives. Attached File Big thanks to the following: @Commando223 Incredible deal and easy transaction. It was my first firearm purchase from the equip exchange. @finnfan I needed a Mossy 500 7-3/4" slide action in order to play around with the forend. Still can't believe my luck / timing on that purchase. @GripnAK47s Thanks again for the great deal and quick ship on the M-LOK forend. It's perfect! @Giff Here's an absolute testament to the good and kind people found on ARFCOM. Giff, the swampfox is perfect for the Maverick. |

I picked up this Stevens Model 94 in 20 gauge from a co-worker last week. She had never shot it. It belonged to her father who passed away over 20 years ago. Serial number shows it was made in 1978. I added a shell holder and recoil pad. It is the 13th shotgun in my current collection (I have sold one and given away 2).
I took it to the range Saturday and it functions fine. The ejecter will sling an empty shell across the range when you break it open. Attached File |
