This followed me home today. Not really sure what I was thinking, except that I didn't currently own a shotgun that could take the stabby attachment on the front.
The LOP is way too long, so I'll probably shorten the stock up a bit.

Not sure what gave me the bug to do so, but I broke out the HD gun and practiced some speed loads and quick pumping. Should do so more often.

I'm not a big shotgun fan, but I seem to keep buying them. This time a SDS Civet 12 to replace my Mossberg 195 as a trunk gun. I ordered a few 10rd clear mags to make it more fun.

Note that I haven't been able to shoot it yet so just messing around with it doing some reloading drills. It's much bigger/heavier that the hogue overmolded one it replaced. My hand seems to naturally rest in the spot between the lens and battery compartment & kinda acts like a natural stop. 800 some odd lumens (2x cr123), good hot spot with enough spill to not have to directly point it to identify stuff. Buttons on both sides, they are weird. Some spots seem to activate constant on while others are momentary. Biggest complaint so far is the weight, in an odd way. Before I could hold the gun pointing upwards while reloading no matter what. The TL is heavy enough that if the action isn't locked closed or I'm not holding it in place, it will slide back just enough to drop the lifter & prevent me from loading it. I'll have to work on that. So far, for the money, I can't complain. Time Will tell. |

Bought this for a steel with a collapsable buttstock and took it home and put a birdseed grip on it, this was before the shockwave came out, and decided it would be better served with a Houge stock on it. Now its ready to give to my son.

Something a little different...
A 20g 870 I picked up to play with. Installed a Sage collapsible stock, a Choate mag extension, and an old wood pump (cut down and shimmed to fit). Next time my buddy goes to Brownells, he'll be grabbing me a 20" barrel with rifle sights to even up with the magazine. |

870 Express Tactical I picked up today. Changed the polymer furniture out for wood, replaced the standard XS peep sight and rail for an Aridus Industries CROM mount and replaced the tactical extended choke with a flush improved cylinder choke.
