Here's my current list of shotguns.

Old Savage/Springfield .410 bolt action shotgun I found in the shed of a house my grandparents were moving into over 10 years ago.

Spartan 20" 12 gauge SxS hammer coach gun.  Takes Remington chokes.  I love shooting clays with this.

This 870 started out as a $150 police magnum trade in.  It looked like this when I got it.  Now it looks like this.

Here's my baby.  This started out as a $180 used express magnum.  I spent a couple months and several hundred dollars turning it into my rendition of an airforce M870.  BTW the wood on that is the wood that came on the police 870 up ^^ there.  Elbow grease made it pretty.

Made by Franchi for HK. Was an overrun of shotguns made for some elite force in Europe. Only about 300 in the US.

Heres my vanilla Mossburg....

all thats been changed is i added a truglo front bead and a stock shell sock. (not pictured)

a pistol grip stock is in its future.

My dad's brother... my uncle... bought it at a pawn shop about 10 yrs ago, shot about 20 shell out of it then stuck it in its factory cardboard box and there it remained in his closet untill the day he died of bone cancer, then it was passed to my father. it sat under his bed still unfired in the origional box untill about 3 yrs ago when i became old enough to take it to the range by myself when i adopted it as my own. i had to remove a lot of rust from being pourly stored but its still my one and only shotgun / HD firearm.

Nice S12! I just got one myself last weekend, and am in the process of upgrading it; already got an Izhmash 8-rnd mag and ordered a Kobra.

How do you like the Krebs sights? I was thinking of ordering some myself. The stock sights gotta go.

Also, tell me more about the picatinny handguard? First I've heard of it. Does Tromix carry them?

Just a few things I picked up when I turned 18.  The model 12 has issues about retaining shells in the magtube, that I intend to fix eventually but its destined to be little more than a mantlepiece anyway.

The M37 DS police model was an impulse buy.  Nice and all, but I intend to build a 870 police magnum with a surefire pump and speedfeed pistol grip stock to replace it as my practical 12 guage.

The Supernova has a great feel and is easy to pump/rapid fire when needed. (both from Shoulder and Hip)

I didnt have a single hiccup or problem in 200 rounds of continuous fire.

www.jcweaponry.com/images/091606/benelliJason3.jpg

www.jcweaponry.com/images/091606/benelliJason4.jpg

I even tried shooting with some one handed flair. Easy as pie.

Dont hesitate on picking one of these up! (its far more advanced/beefy than my Mossy 500, and well worth the extra cash!)

Nice, I'm thinking of getting one my self.  Couple Questions.

How is the recoil with that stock?

How easy was it to mount optics?

Thanks in advance for any Answers.

Enough!  Enough with these sleek, magazine-glossy show guns.

Time to pull out the ugly duckling oddity- the one so ugly that it's beautiful.   OK, maybe it's just so ugly that it's just ugly, the mutt:
The Mossberg 500 Bullpup.  Ass ugly but actually quite functional.  (Sorry the pictures aren't more inspired guys)  I'd post the other 3 shotguns in the cabinet but they've been done here already at least 50 times.
ANyone seen any of these around at gunshows lately? They've been out of production for some time (gee why they're so purty), I'm wondering what they are priced at these days-

RE: Bullpup
It was a production gun;  Mossberg created it targeting LE but it didn't catch on and it was discontinued. I don;t think it was in production for more than 4 or 5 years if that. It has been 10 years or so since it went out, the exact years I don't remember.
I checked gunsamnerica and there are a couple for sale there; asking price apparently has crept up since i picked this one up.
I took it completely apart when i bought it to clean, lube, inspect.  It is basically a 500 18" or 18.5" 6 shot that drops into this mummy stock thing.  It would appear that I could take the stock off of my 20" persuader and swap them out if i wanted another couple of shells in the tube.   E-gunparts had the schematic on their page a few years ago when i broke it down and still lists parts.
I bought it cuz some people really love bullpups (although most hate them) & it being out of production at the time well I figured i could sell if for a buck if i was patient....  I also have a bushmaster 17 bullpup in the cabinet which is now out of production as well.

MAybe someone with a blue book sitting next to their computer can post the production years of this mutt for us?

EDIT:  Production was 1986-1990
