[ARCHIVED THREAD] - persuader capacity problem

I can only seem to get four 3" shells into my 20" 8 shot mossberg persuader mag. Is there something I'm missing here?

Yes, remove the wooden stick from the magazine. Remove the barrel and shake the "plug" out of the mag.

I didn't know a 20" barrelled gun came with a dowel plug? In any case, yeah, remove the barrel and shake and wiggle it until the wooden dowel falls out.

As far as I know they all do.

In case you want to go deer/duck hunting in 3rd restricted states.

Dad took the 590 out deer hunting here in Ohio...

then the next season they lowered the round count down to three.
